ICC PROFILES

Strijbos prides itself on its ability to produce high-quality printing with a consistent and predictable result not only during the first print run but also during any subsequent print runs. Optimal product quality starts with the software settings.

 

The International Color Consortium (ICC) (www.color.org) developed a standard to ensure optimal image processing and reproduction. ICC profiles must be installed in all layout programmes. The type of paper on which the product is printed determines which profiles need to be used. The aim is to ensure that the appearance of an image, which is determined by factors such as colour and brightness, always remains the same. 

  • ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc 
    for paper types 1 and 2 (glossy and matt coated papers)
  • PSO_Uncoated_ISO12647_eci.icc 
    for paper type 4 (uncoated paper)

 

We have also developed a PDF workflow. To ensure that your PDF files are as perfect as possible, we work with settings that have been adjusted to accommodate the ICC profiles.
